Silas, Auntie Esther and Pauly!!

Brother-sister time on the trampoline!!

Helping make cookies!!
Seth was accepted as a Reserve Deputy on the Police Force in Seneca in January. Every few days he rides along with a senior officer on patrol. He has also helped moniter local events.
All suited up in his uniform!

Watching big brother intently!
Spring has brought the arrival of several hundred baby chicks. Silas helps us by driving with Esther to pick them up from the post-office-- he takes his job very seriously!!

And because we miss our little nephew so much, here is a darling picture of him!!
We Love you, Justice!!

Some of Scott's family came out for a visit in April. We enjoyed having them all over for supper one Saturday evening during their stay.
Scott gives his Momma some shooting tips as she prepares to shoot for the first time!

Sequence--gotta love it!!

There's nothing like a game of UNO attack to give you a handful of cards!! Whew!

Awww.....

For Daddy's birthday Grandma came out and we had a 'shrimp boil'. It was very popular!!! Shrimp, corn, carrots, new potatoes and sausages boiled in spices--- mmmm!!! Thank-you, Grandma!!

Brownies and icre-cream-- Dad's favorite!

In April several of us children drove up to Iowa to attend Anna Rehm's graduation party. We had a wonderful day of fun and fellowship!!
Receiving her Diploma!

Ultimate Frisbee!

We were thrilled to have Bekah come home with us following the graduation and stay with us for a couple of days!! We had wonderful adventures, from long hikes, cleaning for friends, working with the horses, a trip to DQ, taking pictures, Sue Thomas episodes, volleyball and football and of course, talking!!!! :)

Bekah riding Sandy.

Silas and Bekah!

Re-finishing the table top.
We had the pleasure of keeping the sweet Krehbiel girls one day recently. Although it was rainy and cold out, we had a fine time inside doing school, playing games and dressing up!!
Phoebe, Helen, Silas, Amanda and Rachel!

Duets!!

Papa and Nana reading books with Marcus-- he LOVES books.

Mom has always taught us children piano and recently we decided to host a recital in our home-school group for piano students who are taught by a parent. Several families joined us last Sunday evening playing a variety of instruments; piano, violin, clarinet and guitar. Five of us children played pieces during the recital.

Charity has been improving by leaps and bounds!!

Micah playing two different pieces.

Moses and Charity played a duet together.

Tabitha played an arrangement of "In My Life Lord, be Glorified".

Elizabeth played 'Simple Gifts'.
Elizabeth also played her violin during the recital.

One of the beautiful tulips Noah has in the garden!

"I have a flower for you Aunt Charity!"

Beautiful Lilacs that Pauly brought for Nana!!

How many of you cut your own hair?? :)
Some friends recently gave us some chocolate- perfect for dipping. Last Sunday afternoon we broke out the strawberries and each enjoyed the wonderful chocolate. Silas was quietly savoring his portion of chocolate until some one happened to bring our attention to his face, which resulted in a scramble for the camera before we cleaned him up!!

"I love chocolate, just like my Daddy!!"

Sunny days are perfect for picnics-- and what better then PB&J for a sweet little boy?!?
Milk and cookies for the perfect snack!!

Sunny Smiles!!
