The Big Catch-up Post.

I have collected all the pictures from the past few weeks of our blogger absence and after deciding that 130 pictures was too many for one post, I have narrowed it down to get most of the highlights. So enjoy the glimpses of our past few weeks.
In October they had a Fall Festival in a nearby town; based off a "Old Times" theme, showcasing the history in our town; from the Pony Express Museum to the old jail. Noah and Esther were responsible for signing up vendors, but Noah was also a vendor, selling goodies to the wandering townspeople.

What they were selling.
In keeping with the "Old Times" theme, they gave free wagon rides-- our younger ones loved them!

Celebrating big 4 birthday.

Spending the day with special friends!
As progress was continuing on our shed, our dear friends the Kroekers volunteered to come spend the week-end with us helping put up the walls. We we so grateful for their help and fellowship!!

Working on the last wall.

Mr. Kroeker was in charge of the screw gun.

"Have mercy on me and my camera!!"

Inside they were having plenty of fun!!

Busy, Busy, busy!!

It wouldn't be a Kroeker visit without a bonfire!!

And every Kroeker visit contains at least one game of football!

Now while the Dads and children were busy on our farm, the Mom's were enjoying a much needed break. Mom and three close friends went on a adventerous trip to celebrate Mom and Mrs. Kroeker's last year in the 40's. They called it their "Forty-niners Fling", complete with laughter and cappachino, just like their college years together.
The Four!

Go-Carts!
And of course, a stop to see the grandboys, and a trip the the park!

So the night that this pictures was taken; it turned into everybody tickle Noah!

Then everybody get Dad!

We raised around 500 birds this fall, so a lot of time was spent choring, and then butchering!! We raised some for some friends, and they were gracious enough to come help with the butchering!!

They made a quick move and instead of taking Josh's elaborately decorated truck, they jumped into Alaina's car!!
They were pelted until the very last moment possible!!
After the wedding we spent the remainder of the week-end with the Stangls. Thank-you for having us, Stangls!! We had a great time!

Esther spent the week with the McKeen family, enjoying visiting with Laura and Scott and their three little girls. They had us over for supper when we dropped Esther off and Phoebe was delighted to have met a little girl who shares her name!

Andrew and Rebecca got tickets to the Kansas State/Nebraska football game and shared two with Dad and Esther. They had great seats since Andrew's cousin is the quarterback, and they got family seating. While they were gone at the game, we got to watch Justice!
