Touring the Capitol!!

A few weeks ago we had the opportunity to tour the State Capitol with the Kroekers and the Beckmans!! They had been planning the trip, and when they called us up, we miraculously had the day free! Yay!

This was the first time for the youngest 4 to ever visit the Capitol. Moses recently served as a page for our Representative, so he had lots of neat things to point out, and stories from his experience!! Caroline, Katy, Charity & Karly.

Three different photos from 3 different angles.

In the Chamber of the House of Representatives.

I am still amazed how the Lord worked this all together.......
Seriously, how often do you have a free Friday???
Usually, we have to plan months (or at least a year) in advance!!!!!
What an educational experience for all ages.....Yesterday the Governor came to the Messiah.....I was wanting to tell him we were at his office and house a few weeks ago, but I think he was busy.....He didn't have a free Friday, I guess!!!!
Looking forward to seeing you in 18 days!

Hurrah! The pictures worked this time! Looks like SO MUCH fun! We went and toured the capital of Iowa one time for a homeschool field trip and I had SO MUCH FUN! I LOVED all the history, and the 1800's woodwork and architechture! Wish I could have been there because it looks like fun and fellowship was to be had by all!;)

I like the design of your blog very much. It looks like a page from fairy tale. I’m really impressed!

This is mind- numbingly tedious. Do yiu really think the horrible ordinariness of your family is of any interest to anyone? Put this in a Picasa album and stop taking up space the rest of us could put to good use.
