Last Summer Projects!

This summer has been filled with outdoor projects for Dad & the boys! With Dad home everyday, there has been a never-ending list of projects that he & the boys have tackled! Dad started back to school on August 11th but before he started, they had one last project together!
The project was building a new roof for one of the cattle-loafing sheds. The previous roof blew off during a bad windstorm this Spring.
I'll let the pictures speak mostly for themselves!!

We were happy to have John spend several days with us this summer! He pitched right in and helped with whatever project was going on!

(A must for the construction site!!)

(Nothing like fresh cookies after a hot day of building!!)

What a blessing to have a father who invests time in his children! Teaching them that work is important, and can be just as fun as playing!! The boys have loved working with Dad on all the projects and have learned a multitude of new things: both skills and good attitudes!
"Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning." Proverbs 9:9
