A week ago today, Noah flew out to China!! After a flight from Kansas City to Chicago, he met up with the other three members of the team- Rachel, Bethany and Kori, and they boarded a second plane for the 13 hour flight to Beijing. From there they took a train to Taiyuan.
The four of them are now settled into their new surroundings, adjusting to a different culture and a whole different time zone (they are 12 hours ahead of us)!!
Noah and the team will be in China for the next 6 weeks teaching English to students in the University where they are staying.

Oh, I bet you guys are going to miss him soooo much! I know somewhat what it's like to have your brother off to China - although when Dad and the boys went to China it was only for 1 week vs. 6.

Thanks for the post... We started teaching yesterday and it has proved more challenging than I think we anticcipated. Some of the students know very little English. Your prayers are being felt every day as the Lord continues to show himself strong in our weakness'
