Our last family activity before Noah left for China involved spending a wonderful day on the lake with Uncle Tom and Aunt Barb!! We had a wonderful day in the boat out on the lake; tubing, skiing (or trying to ski!!), and once it got dark, playing ping-pong. 
Harley didn't like the water in the slightest bit. We had to push him in, and he promptly paddled out!!

Phoebe was all smiles, as long as she was mostly out of the water.

Moses took some big waves, but never ever fell off!

Charity was our brave girl and used her strong muscles to hold on the whole time!!

Tabitha holds the record for the fastest tubing rides ever. Last year she went through quite the wild ride, but never fell off. This year Uncle Tom was determined to knock her off the tube. And he did!! She held on through some enormous waves but after Uncle Tom kicked the speed up a few notches, she went skipping right off the tube!!

Esther tried and tried and tried, but never made it up. It definitely wasn't from a lack of determination!
So Aunt Barb got out there and showed us how to do it right!!

Moses made some valiant efforts to get up on the skiis.. He made some fantastic tries and even made it up once, but couldn't quite stay up.

Uncle Tom and I played ping-pong as a team; we were quite a challenge to our opponents, to say the least!!
During the late afternoon, a storm swept through the area, but after it abated, the sunset, casting glorious rays of color on the clouds and lake! What a beautiful end to a fantastic day!Thanks for having us, Uncle Tom and Aunt Barb!!

Oh, it looks like you had so much fun! I just LOVE tubing and jet-skiing! I never have been brave enough to try skiing though.

My last (and only) ride of last year I poped the tube after a 10 foot bounce....it was so worth it : )
I agree with Sir Way the Pat Hetic smile pictures are WAYYY GOOD! Though the commentary between Noah, and Elizabeth on this post is quite commical! You two had me laughing! Thanks for the post Elizabeth it was wonderful to see pictures of my dear second family having fun! I am devestated that we won't be seeing you at the fourth afterall, and hope that it won't be long before we can somehow see each other again! Until then keep up the posts so that I know what is going on at the "home front"!=) Miss you all SO...... MUCH!

I love all the pictures!! Oh, it looks like you guys had so much fun in the water! It really is amazing what one can do with pictures, isn't it? And what fun it is to look back and remember the fond memories that we all have when we can look at great photographs!!

I love tubing! It is so much fun! This year When we went up North and went tubing, the only person that fell off the tube was Ike and Zack was driving. It is so much fun on jet skis!
