This past week we were given a deer by a hunter in Nebraska. We set a evening aside to process it, and we look forward to enjoying the meat in various dishes this year!!!

that looks a little nasty, sorry you had to do it.
LOL, My brothers and dad have been hunting ever since I can remember, and though we (my sisters and I) leave the skinning part to them (and happy to do so!!) cutting the meat cup is a family effort. So I am well acquainted with the process!!! And don't worry, it gets more normal the more times you do it. We really enjoy having the meat during the winter months. Hope you do too;-)
